You can delete your mionda account, and everything in it, whenever you like. Deleting is permanent: we cannot bring an account back afterwards.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
Open the mionda app on your Android phone and sign in.
Tap your picture or name in the journal to open the Account screen.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account (the red button).
Read the warning and confirm. The account is deleted and you are signed out.
What is deleted
Your sign-in account, @username (it becomes available to others again), display name, profile photo and statement.
All of your miondas and books, including their photographs and sound files stored on our servers, and the public copies of them.
Your messages and conversations (the other person's copy of that conversation is removed too).
Who you follow, who follows you, follow requests, and your blocked list.
Your notification devices and settings.
Deletion is done straight away. Files you saved on your own phone in Pictures/mionda are yours and are not touched: they stay on your device.
What we keep
Reports that you sent, or that someone sent about you, may be kept so we can keep the service safe.
Routine technical logs that do not contain your content may remain for a short time (typically up to 30 days) before they expire.
Can't get into the app?
If you can no longer open the app, for example you lost your phone, ask us to delete the account. Write from the email address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my mionda account, and include your @username. We will confirm by reply and finish the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Only want to remove some things? You can delete individual miondas, remove followers, block people or make your profile private without deleting the account. See the privacy policy for your other choices.
